Three Rivers Council - BSA

Activities

Three Rivers Council Activities

Three Rivers Council maintains Camp Urland; a quality camp for units to utilize throughout the year. We also conduct winter camp at Urland. Three Rivers Council and local volunteers hold several events throughout the year, such as our merit badge fair. Our major fundraising activity is the sell of Trails End© Popcorn through local units.

National Council Activities

The National Council operates high-adventure programs at Philmont Scout Ranch, New Mexico; Northern Tier National High Adventure Programs, Minnesota and Canada; and Florida National High Adventure Sea Base.
The BSA conducts a national Scout jamboree every four years and participates in world Scout jamborees (also held at four-year intervals). Fort A.P. Hill, Virginia, was the site of the 2001 National Scout Jamboree.
